Will is a Louisville native and graduate of the Louis D. Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville who spent more than fifteen years as an award-winning television news and sports producer before embarking on a second career and fulfilling a lifelong ambition of becoming a lawyer. During his law school career, Will volunteered for the Honorable McKay Chauvin in Jefferson County Circuit Court and clerked part-time while helping to support his wife and two children.
Will began pursuing his career in television news with a desire to educate, inform, and serve the public, and maintains those principles in his legal practice at Jones Ward PLC. He has produced and executive produced newscasts and specials at WHAS, WDRB, WLKY and WAVE, and has received recognition for his work by the Society of Professional Journalists, the Ohio Valley Regional Emmy Awards and Louisville Magazine’s Best of Louisville. Will also created and served as executive producer of two long-running sports programs for Time Warner Cable, KSTV and cn|2 sports.
Prior to law school, Will graduated cum laude with a degree in television/radio/film production with a dual minor in film art and women’s studies from Syracuse University.
Will is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association and the Louisville Bar Association. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Kentucky.
